I'd like to reactivate the old topic. I had a little crash so the rear end of my GS needs to be repaired. It's a great ocassion to make a rear lights conversion. Does anybody know if the whole rear end of 3200 will fit GS/4200? I have to graft both rear fenders and the floor with wheel well and I wonder if they fit 4200 body?

Floor 3200 will not fit.
And apart from that, the conversion is a lot of work indeed.

I had my rear lights converted to the boomerangs more than 20 years ago according to my construction plans along with modifications to the air vents, the faux leather, the brake lines and the intake manifold. All thes alterations can be retrofitted if wanted (exeption is the bootlid wich I had to buy for the spyder seperately).
I made similar modifications to all my cars (even to classics being more tan 60 yearsold). In everyday usage my cars are better than the original setups and nicer too). These amendments are expression of my personal taste as well as my hobby to collect crucial parts an tools helps to remain independant from aftermarket and questionable workshops.

I could scan the modified harness plan and send it to you viaEMail. Yes you need two lamp modules from 3200 (one for each side)
