Thanks to everyone on this thread. Just picked up the HT200 from Wally World. $49.95. Downloaded the app, Maserati files then the Euro Diag app it asked me to download. Worked like a charm. Cleared the service wrench and oil reset on my 2018 GT. Ran a scan and checked out everything. Don't freak when you scan everything it will throw a few error code on the TFT and say go to dealer but all is good. Once you shut down and restart every thing clears.

I hope it does reset the service light, so please report back... FYI I bought the Foxwell NT530 and paid a little more for it, but unfortunately it did not work. It does read most codes and resets some of them, but the service light ain't one of them... I suspect the only ones capable to reset the service light are the professional ones that will cost you $$$

Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Hello gents I bought the nt530 foxwell and it does work for the maserati ghibli. It's just not so forward. Enter the special function of the Integrated Panel Cluster system and hit Write Service Information. If there is still a service reminder message after the function is done, do the Reset of Oil life time values in EEPROM function of the special function of the Engine Control Module Diesel system.

Has any one actually had luck with these scanner's to turn the wrench light off? I've tried the Launch scanner, the autel obd phone app, and the obd star x 200 pro. None of these have reset the service wrench light. Am I doing this wrong or just having bad luck with every option that is suppose to work? Any help much appreciated.

If all you want to do is turn off the wrench, you can just change the system clock (extremely easy) to, let's say, a year prior. It will take all of half a minute.

this is done through the dash?
With your key inserted and turned on, press the 'menu' button in the center stack. Then rotate the round knob closest to the 'menu' button until 'configuration' appears on the screen. Select by pressing the knob. A list appears which includes something like 'set time and date'. Rotate the knob and select.

Looking at your avatar that is your ride..M145 is the chassis code...You use codes because if you say 3 series BMW for example you could be talking about all kinds of cars. That is why a manufactures uses chassis and engine codes.....QP is M139...4200 is M138...and later QP M156...J

About bricked dashes, mine is bricked for a while (date/time). However before I was still able to remove the service coupon light. I tried several different tools and none work. My assumption is that older versions of said tools would work but that newer versions don't anymore. Does anyone have a trick?

I have the Autel AP200 and tried different other modern tools. I guess I need to find something old enough because a few years ago, the light could be reset this way (the dash was already bricked then).

Still keen on finding a solution if anyone has one ;)

Thanks C. Yes, I am aware about that, the thing is I didn't really mind the bricked dash until now that I can't reset that service light. Maybe I should try my luck with older scanners on Ebay...

Guys,

As a heads-up, I just did it on my (2018 Quattroporte GTS); I used the Autel MaxiAP AP200 and a 12+8 cable (both from Amazon for less than 70$ total), and it worked immediately. I think the 12+8 cable is required starting MY 2018 to bypass the Gateway Security Module on the OBD2 port (I didn't try without it).

Accessing the GSM in the 2018 Quattroporte GTS is pretty straightforward after removing the panel below the steering column (2 screws and a clip). You can have the whole thing done in probably 30min (surely less than 1hr).
