Did a run with a few Lamborghini’s and Ferraris on Sunday - car went well as I kept up with the fellow Italians - whereafter we went for breakfast.

However, on our way home, the amber CEL came on, but the car was still smooth with no misfires or hesitation. Upon checking with an OBD reader the following codes were shown:

1. P2177 System too lean off idle bank 1
2, P2179 System too lean off idle bank 2

The car starts with no problems, drives smooth with no hesitation or change in performance.

Just to add that it was the first decent run for quite some time not sure if that could have anything to do with it. I always use premium fuel (95)

Will appreciate some pointers as to what I should look at

Thanks

Today we checked vacuum leaks with smoke test but nothing we could find, I’m getting

P2177: System too lean off idle Bank 1
P2187 System Too Lean at Idle (Bank 1)

errors at the first day after car get slept for a few days. And on the dash I get service electronic throttle control with engine light on. A free days later throttle error clean itself but engine light stay on

Help plz

No, I don't want people sending me PMs unless it's my customers...I pointed you in the right direction...I don't offer step by step diagnosis for every vehicle...Jason

I could come to your place and be your costumer ofcourse but the problem is I'm in another country 🙂 I already tried a lot of things to find out what's the problem, I don't think and want a step by step diagnose, because I already tried all possible things and just need an advice from you as a guru of maserati 🙂
