Just randomly scanning my car with my Autel and got a p0430 code, no check engine light illuminated and it was a stored code.... Obviously I'm going to keep an eye on it, but is this the start of any catalytic converter issues that others have experienced? Thanks

I just got the same code with check engine light 2 times in 6 months

Yes, the catalytic is starting to fail..Covered under warranty for 8 years or 80k under EPA rules...J

I have attached the picture, there is also pending 0420. I'm assuming the cats are expensive unless you go aftermarket. Any recommendations? Is there anything else that can trigger it? I know on a cold start after 5 minutes, I would move the car and I would see water on the road. The water placement seems to be in the middle of the car. I assume that the connections are not tight enough from when I changed to an X pipe about 2-3 years ago. Both times the light came on it was after some heavy driving, park, drive like a grandma then it comes on (not in sports)

No, it's just both cats failing most likely..OE units are stupid money...
