Update on this.... got my Loudlink after about 2 weeks and installed it in about 10 minutes. I chose to remove the cd changer and Velcro'd the unit in the CD changer opening. I also removed the dust panel below it so I could easily access the factory plug as the line attached to the CD changer wasn't long enough to pull out and get your hand in there.

Only gripe I have is it doesn't connect automatically to my Iphone 7 I have to go into my phone settings each time I get in the car and "connect" through my Bluetooth settings. Super easy to use though and I now have all my music through my phone including Pandora or whatever application you want to run. Sound is better than radio and as good as you can expect from factory system.

Highly recommend the Loudlink for a quick cheap fix to Bluetooth music streaming. I don't Bluetooth phone calls so no idea how well this works.

It's weird but I've found it will auto connect after a while. Its almost like it has to learn the pairing and it takes a while. Luckily it's very simple to do it manually on Android in case.

Just ordered a LoudLink for my '08. Arnold responded quickly - if using PayPal, make sure the address you enter on his register page is exact same as it is on your PayPal account. (It does a check. When correct you will get into your PayPal account automatically.)

What to do with the old Blaupunkt 5-disc changer? Are they worth anything?

Btw TWINTRBO, what is actual name of the QP M139 Facebook page, if it's still going? Can't seem to find it.

So while waiting for the LoudLink, I was looking in to what kinda brackets there are for a phone. But they tend to be pretty tacky, hanging on the vents and the CD slot and junk like that. So I made an attempt at a bracket to hold the phone over on the left of the wheel. The panel that covers the fuses is removable so it's easy to work with it. This is it so far. I have a milling machine so I made the first try with that, now it needs to be painted or anodized black.

There are some cables with connectors down there, I wonder if I can get 12V power from that? Want to make a short little USB charge cord. Is that where a TV module would go?

Very nice. You can surely get 12v from there, as it's where I run my DAB converter. I think the TV module would go behind the NIT, but I could very well be wrong

Yes, I think I agree now that I've tried it. Too low isn't good. Although my original idea was to be hands off and try to use the LoudLink to interface with it. I'll have to wait and see.

But my car doesn't have that little glove box thingy. It's just a solid panel.

Because it is a US version.

Even with loudlink you can't make calls, The screen does not show you any info. Remember, the interface is still analog (through CD changer cable) . There is no digital connection between loudlink and unit in order to transfer data such as song name, caller ID etc. In terms of accessibility you are completely blind.

So you MUST place somewhere the phone in order to have caller ID and make calls.

I have opened another thread about the best possible position of mobile phone ( I hate taxi-like suction caps) . But personally I didn't find any solution yet. I have it placed horizontally inside the two bottle holders (I have Automatica) but still flies when hard braking :(

I think I have a bracket that will finally stick and put the phone where I want it. I'll try it out and let you guys know. It's a Samsonite with a really sticky suction cup.

Thanks, I did read where you mentioned that elsewhere. I can see the phone over there on the left, but it's not too good. Was thinking mostly music, and maybe for a long call just put the phone there, but more custom and a better place would be the best. Still working on it I guess.

Ordered a loudlink.....there is a manufacturing delay per Arnold so I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Condemned to listening to CDs for the time being. Changer actually works quite well.
