That stuff is made in Taiwan. Why not stick with the Italian makers like Larini?
Larini is a UK company with an Italian sounding name btw, but I agree, I wouldn't do Taiwanese for my car!

I've thought about Innotech being Taiwan. But after researching more, and seeing some real life exhaust on M3. I can say they do produce high quality system. Not your typical thoughts of cheap product. Cars they have installed include GTRs, Ferraris etc.

I considered both Larini and Innotech. Watching lots of videos of these 2 exhausts, Innotech seems to give a deeper throatier sound which I like. Larini seems a bit light. Just personal preference. I haven't heard Larini in real life though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, I'm just looking for deeper review if someone have own this system before. Any drone?

Thanks for the input guys.

I've just recently signed up as a dealer for Innotech exhaust systems, I'm scheduled to perform our first install on a 2011 M3 w/competition pkg. in the next week or so. It's not a QP but the idea is very similar and I'm certain the attributes will be comparable. I'll follow up with my impressions once the system is installed and I've driven the car.

The distributor in California, which has done some installs has said that the exhaust note on the 911's and BMW's are a deeper note.

Not to be too cheeky, but that's like saying that the German farm girl next door isn't an Italian supermodel, but the idea is very similar and I'm certain her "attributes" will be comparable. ;) heheh

I don't know Steve, in my experience they all feel about the same.......LOL

On a serious note though, both cars have 90deg., small displacement and high revving V8's. Both cars are considered to be GT type cars with a balance of luxury and performance. You would be surprised how similar they feel when you drive them back to back, IMO.

So, I completed the Innotech install last night. The car sounded much better than I had expected. In the sound clips available on Youtube the cars are fitted with the mufflers and resonator delete pipes, they have a very raspy sound which I personally don't care for. the system we put together was deleted cats and a x-pipe with small competition type resonators fitted. The resonators helped clean up the sound and add some depth to the note as well. The car sounded very impressive, certainly not like you'd expect a Bimmer to sound. With the valves closed, the car was just slightly louder than stock and with the valves open it sounded like something off the race track.

Bottom line, I'm looking forward to setting up some local cars with these systems. The majority of systems sold so far have been BMW and Porsche, if any of you Maserati guys are interested in the Innotech I may be able to work a deal in exchange for some promotional assistance.

Once I get the sound bytes we made last night sorted out, I'll post it up for your impressions.

Josh,

I'll donate my car to the cause... You get Innotech to give you an exhaust, I'll pay you your labor and we all win!

Lol..."give" may be a bit strong of a word to use, I'll give my rep a call and see what they're willing to do though. The product listing currently only mentions QP and GranTurismo models, I'll confirm whether or not the coupe/GS is available or in process.

Sweet! Let me know!
