Can anyone list the differences in the these years of the GT in terms of HP, appearance, tansmission, etc

Sorry to bring an old post back from the dead, but I've been secretly hoping for an answer to this post.

Aside from the obvious incremental increases in HP, and transmissions, I've found it particularly difficult to differentiate aesthetically the '09-'11 GTS's. The net hasn't yielded much. I figured tail lights or headlights would have been changed, but it doesn't seem so.

Besides the "4.7" emblem on the older models, anything else stand out?

Just what I have noticed.

When I began my search for a GT-S, I looked at and drove an 09, 10 and 11 GT-S.

I always wanted an automatic S with the ground effects and I noticed these visual differences.

MY 09 GT-S, with true F1 Clutch, came with side scoop ground effects.
MY 09 GT-S automatic, did not offer the aggressive side scoop ground effects.

MY 10 GT-S only came in automatic, and had side scoop ground effects.

MY 11 GT-S only came in automatic, and had side scoop ground effects, PLUS front lower lips/spoilers.

I am not too sure about MY 12 and MY 13.

MY 12 saw an updated face and the intro of the MC, perhaps a bump in hp.

MY 13 got new seats, new lights, a few more hp, the S is now called a Sport and the 4.7 badge is gone.

If you are looking to buy, and you prefer the older nose, I think the best bang for your buck now is an 10 GT-S, all you have to do is add the front lip spoilers and it should be identical to an 11. I think the front lip spoilers add a touch of aggressiveness to the front.

For MY12 the GT-S is the entry model, no 4.7 badge, door handles are body-colored and the exhaust tips on early 12s are 4 round, while later 12s are oval.

Thanks guys. I had the same question but assumed that the question had been asked before - too lazy to search.

There seems to be a lot of quality inventory available.

When I was at the dealer a few weeks back I also noticed the front of the MY13 Sport is different than the front of the MY13 MC.

I am with you, I don't have a good explanation as to why Maserati changed the beautiful front? It is very unique and pronounced but flows with the car.

I have noticed a ton of quality inventory available.

If you have cash you will be able to pick up a beautiful GTS at a great price point . Take your time and buy the one that makes you happiest in the best condition.

Don't think you can go wrong with a low mileage 10 or 11 GTS.

Post photos when you get one.

I prefer the GT- MC front look to that of the GTS. I haven't seen the 2013 sport in person yet so no comment. The GT-MC looks great imo when the front "smile" is painted to match the car color...
Here are some pics. Painted MC front, Novitec hood not painted front, and 2013 sport. Mine is the car with the Novitec hood (waiting to be painted).
