1) Took car for service to FMOS (GT09 4.2)
2) Dealer gives me a loaner, usually a Fiat 500 but this time decided a GTS 2013 was better for a sleep over
3) Wife and kid RAVE about the loaner
4) .... following day: Take kid to school and wife calls us while I am driving "you should keep this loaner..."
5) signed paperwork at dealer at 6 pm

Moral of the story: way cheaper (for us) when a dealer offers no loaners

will post pics of the new baby when I get it back... need to go through custome installing passport 9500, paint protection, etc.

Love the color combo and I have the proper song to listen to when I take the car home: AC/DC Back in Black

I Love This Story!

Simply awesome

Nice! That has happened to me more than once as well!

Another reason why it boggles my mind that some dealers don't do this EVERY time.

Oh crap! I wasn't thinking of this the other night.

My wife & I went to our dealer for their unveiling of the new QP. It was same car we saw & she fell in love with at Amelia Island a couple of weeks back. The metallic beige one we've all seen in intro shots. Beautiful!

Our GT is going in for annual oil/filter change, brake fluid flush, and some other minor stuff on Monday. Usually they either flatbed it in & out or bring a non-descript loaner. My wife cornered the service guy at the party to give us a Maser loaner. He said he would.

Sounds like I could be in trouble.

Many congrats. Great story. Did they make you pay for the service?
 not a penny. I picked up the car with my wife yesterday, they installed free of charge a battery tender as I had the original Maserati battery tender on my trade in. And we got lucky and picked up the car in the first day of the year with warm temperatures and sunny skies in Seattle  we took the very long way back home so even when dealer is 12 miles from home we are past 2 digits in the odometer
