Have a 2012 MC, it’s time to do the plugs and I have a small weep from the valve cover gaskets.
im handy and don’t mind doing it myself but wanted to know if anyone has a manual showing the procedure or a video of it. It’s black and white just removing things which isn’t my problem I just want to know if there is anywhere that needs sealer with the new gasket so I don’t have another leak when I’m done.
Hope that all makes sense and thanks for the help guys!

Got the manual, thanks for the link. It doesn’t say anything about when your replace the gasket with new about adding any sealant in any areas. Just wondering if it’s not listed but needs to be done.

I've never done it, but from previous threads no sealant is needed BUT a dab to hold some of the seals in place can be useful.

This might help give you an idea of whats involved

Since I also replaced intake gaskets, cam cover gaskets and the thermostat I did a few extra steps, but I think most of these steps need to be done. Also any wire or hose I removed and its corresponding location I marked with a piece of tape labeled A,B,C, ,etc

Take lots of pictures, you can't have too many. Close ups, movies etc.

Here it is
-pull engine covers
-remove air inlet clamp (closest to engine so that air filter box can come out later) Mark A
-Remove wire (I think this is the one on the air inlet hose) Mark B
-remove front of air filter Mark C
-remove left and right air hose and mark direction and sides Mark Left and Right and Direction to engine
-remove rear part of air filter Mark D
-remove belly pan
-loosen lower radiator hose and drain coolant
-make wiper locations on windshield and remove wipers
-disconnect battery (probably should have done this earlier
-remove cowl/windshield box noting where each of the different 6 screws go
-remove left and right rubber dams at end of windshield
-undo 3 windshield wiper motor bolts
-undo cowl box bolts/nuts and wiper motor connection noting how wire is routed over brake booster
-remove wiper motor
-remove last nut/washer center left
-remove fuse box bolts
-remove cabin air inlet filter 4 bolts
-finally remove cowl
-remove fuse box base and tape box to hood strut
-undo fuel lines now or later tape out of the way, I think to hood strut
-undo hose to front of intake Mark F
-remove crossover hose/pipe (I think this goes cam cover to cam cover) Mark G
-remove allen (LH) bolt holding wiring to drivers side electrical box
-remove brackets above injectors
-undo wiring and remove injectors and rail assemblies Mark E and side and direction to engine
-remove Drivers side cam breather to intake
-remove intake bolts
-remove intake while detaching two hoses attached under it (the one with clamp needs to be marked so its reinstalled same way and doesn't get twisted)
