Quattroporte Tray Table Shock

Hi there - I own a 2009 QP (S) Executive package edition - does anyone know how to replace the single shock on both tray tables on the back of my seats? right now they flop and bang around since the shocks have lost all their compression. I have replacement but I dont know how to get to the "bottom" of the shock which is buried deep inside the lower part of the seats.

Old post but want to know if you ever replaced them. Im in the same situation. I dont know how to remove tue bottom part.

I removed the back panel. That is how to remove the bottom part of the shock. I have pics. Where did you get the shocks from?
