Been a very long time since I have been on here (sold my ‘06 QP sport GT back in 2014) but looking at getting back into the Maserati brand again. Have a couple questions on a S vs a GTS Quattroporte as it pertains to the 2011-2012 models. I know the exhaust and suspension are different but wondering if swapping in a Larini valved exhaust like ones from Formula dynamics on an S model will be similar to a GTS factory setup? Rented a GranTurismo Sport in Vegas this winter, which got me itching to get that sound back in my life.
Secondly, is there any differences in transmission performance between the GTS and S models? Like in sport manual mode will the S hold to the rev limiter or automatically shift up?
I ask these questions because I have found my perfect spec (white exterior on black interior) in an S model and don’t know if or when a GTS like this might pop up.
