These cars don't eat batteries anymore than any other car and it's not a cell phone that needs to be charged all the time..That is what the alternator is there for...The cars going through batteries are most likely not driven daily and sit a bunch..That is what kills batteries...Jason

I really don't see how you could get all that from changing pads and rotors, but I would go back and look over your work...J

Oh ok...It maybe just coincidence...I would obviously start with making sure you have a good battery and all your fuses on the (+) terminal are good and the nuts are tight...There is nothing around the jack points...J

You can really only do so much with a little OBD2 scanner..You need a more advanced scan tool to access all the modules in the network. Definitely looks like something is wrong in the network..Possibly something with body processor module if the hazards won't shut off...I think it is time for a shop..Sorry..Jason

Now you guys see why I'm always saying how hard it is to diagnosis a car via the internet...Who in the hell is looking for something like that??? but let a shop just let a shop put the car in the air and they found it in like 2 minutes..J

I'm going to kinda go off on the scanner thing..The general public thinks that the scan tool tells you what is wrong a car...It just gives you a fault...You are just using a computer to talk to an another computer as a starting point for a diagnosis..You can literally have a car without any coolant and the scanner would say we are good...J

You don't need the sensors..Just tell the shop to use some aftermarket with no sensors and put it on your ticket "as per customer request"..to cover their ass. You just leave plug unplugged...You can check the pads with your eyes by looking through the wheel..You can use FD, Hawk, EBC, etc..Jason

Error code or warning light? The warning light grounds through the sensor wire..We just leave them unplugged all the time. If the brake warning light is on they need to check the sensor wire for short to ground and check the brake fluid level..We never use OE pads...J

A car shop should really be able to figure out a brake pad warning light without help..It isn't that hard..They can only work two different ways ..1.) ground through the rotor 2.) break the circuit open.. Jason

The brake pad sensor is one wire with a loop at the end..We just did brakes on a M145 car all around...We didn't do anything with the sensors except cut them..As long as it doesn't ground..So a twist does work, but you can just cut them..Don't count on the dealer to help you much...Jason

Well, looks like I’ll be at the Maserati dealership Friday morning 7:30….🥳
I don't think this gonna be a good experience for you...In the South, we call it getting taking out behind the woodshed...Jason
