Just a word on the Maserati Store I wish i knew about prior to purchase….. I bought a jacket for $275 which ended up being a pretty cheesy light weight jacket probably worth about $65 at a local Macy's store (without a Maserati logo of course) Europeans must be gnomes too as a medium was really equivalent to a "small" or child size.
So to return I'm responsible for all the shipping…. $220 via UPS how it arrived or $70 stuffed into a smaller box and shipped US postal which I opted for.

As an added bonus I get a bill today from UPS for the customs duty and broker fee of $18 for the imported item? Random?

What a total joke. I have nothing to show for my affinity for the brand name but an $88 hole in my wallet. Ok, not a lot of money but more of a principle I guess. For some reason I just expected more.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Mine has been opposite. I've bought 3 pairs of shoes from Maseratistore.com over the last few years and I've loved them - comfortable for driving, walking, and working at the track. They were a bit pricey, but I'll likely buy another pair when the current ones wear out.

I got shoes too and they are good quality for the price....all apparel by La Martina is great quality as well, expensive but def more trendy than classic Maserati apparel...sizes run smaller than U.S. Think Large for a Medium. Maserati polos and sweatshirts are very nice too...also here look for Large sizes if you are a medium in the U.S.

The customs fees are a pain in the neck indeed!

Agreed on all fronts. The shoes I bought were too small, expensive given the hidden custom fees and cost me $45+ to return them. Given I paid $200++ for the shoes and they were coming from Italy, I certainly expected they were made in Italy. WRONG!!! I was extremely disappointed to see they were made in China!

Thanks for the heads up. This is dissapointing to hear. Especially since Maserati announced that they will limit production in order to maintain the exclusivity of the brand, they fall short on supporting patrons who want to "up" their passion for the brand.
