know a lot about Maserati's. I really like their looks and I am seriously considering buying a convertible. From an investment standpoint what would be the best convertible to buy? Any special edition convertibles like the Shelby Edition Vipers? Thanks for all of your help. I sincerely appreciate it.

From an enjoyment perspective, Maseratis are positively amazing. From an investment standpoint, these cars may be the worst financial decision you ever make. Buy a Maserati, drive it as often as you can, and enjoy everything it offers. If you start thinking about money, all the fun goes away very, very fast.

In 2004, Maserati released a special edition Spyder as a 2005MY car. The car was called a 90th Anniversary Spyder and is one of the rarest modern Maseratis due to the low production volume (90 made). Here is Maserati's official page on the car...
Maserati Heritage - Maserati Spyder 90th Anniversary

You will have to decide for yourself if the price delta, if any, between this car and a standard Gransport Spyder is worth it.

I have one of these special edition spyder's. This car has been one of the most fun cars that i have ever owned. I have owned it for three years and still to this day get a thrill ever time i take the car out for a ride. I live in toronto and the car is in hibernation for 6 months of the year. I am like a little kid waiting for the good weather to come in late april so i can wake her up from her winter nap. Trully a beautiful machine and have absolutely no regrets in buying her and would do it all over in a heart beat. See my albums for more pixs if interested. As travis stated maserati san diego has a nice low mileage 90th anniversary spyder for sale.

Welcome to the forum!

The 90th Anniversay Spyders are very nice... I really like the Blue Carbon Fiber, very unique!

Best Regards,
