Hi, Trying to sort some faults on my 05 QP.

2 items controlled from the switching sticks on the steering wheel are not working so I'm trying to eliminate the errors and see if it the steering column switch gear or the items themselves.

1: Full beam only works when pulling towards you and holding it. Pushed away it should turn full beam on permanently but it doesn't work
2: Windshield washer pump is not working on my

Checked the fuse for the pump which is ok, so need to check the actual pump and wiring (to clear the steering column being at fault).

So how do you get to this pump/tank? Its hidden beneath a steel panel with only the filler neck sticking out. Do you need to remove the wheel well liner to get under there?
If I can measure power to the pump I can tick off the steering column as the error.

Sorry for the late response, I just saw this and am surprised no one else answered you. Attached is a pdf describing how to remove the windshield washer tank.


As for the high beams please clarify just what happens when. you push the lever moves forward and stays, as it should, but no brights? Do the low beams stay on? And when you pull the lever towards you the brights do come on?

Thanks for this. But what i need to access is the washer pump which I think is based at the bottom of the left wheel well.
Do you have anything about that?
