The actuator don't really fail much unless they leak..I would start with the Pots.. I doubt your tool will do a gearbox relearn...Have no idea what a dealer would charge...Jason

If you can get the car into first and reverse with the key on engine off it isnt in the actuator or pots at this point. If the car starts and then you cannot get a gear look at input shaft speed. If you have any input shaft speed it will not allow a gear engagement. New clutch position should be 19-20mm, current clutch between new clutch and 25mm for a valid reading. Pis I would start at 4.7 or perhaps run it as high as 5.0 to see if you can get a gear. Otherwise, it may have air in the clutch, or you have a failed clutch component.
I'm not so I agree there.. The pot codes are coming from somewhere and it has nothing to do with the clutch.. The TCM is seeing a value out of the pots it doesn't like to record those faults... Jason

How did I get involved here? Dang....I'm telling a person what I would do...If a car is flagging a DTC for something...The pots..I'm replacing that part with a new component and working back off that diagnostic point..I'm eliminating a variable...What I'm not doing is looking at parameters using knock off scan tools and hoping they are correct as mentioned above...Sometimes you just have to start putting parts on cars to reduce all the variables in an equation...I agree there is probably several things going on here...Jason
