I recently had a 2007 parked next to a 2011 QP and got to carefully examine the subtle styling differences between the two. Other than the obvious LED lighting changes, the differences are subtle. I personally give the edge to the earlier QP, with its drippingly elegantly curved rear bumper, compared to later more blockish bumper. The front end also to me on the earlier QP is more sexy and delicate and less bullish in appearance. I also prefer the older school headlight assembly on the early cars without the foglights placed below bumper, its just more "mafia."

What lines? Both cars are identical in terms of lines. The differences are the front/rear lights and bumpers (including front grill) .
If you are a modern car looking lover then you'll certainly go with the 2009+
If you are an old school looking lover then you'll go with the 2005.
I would go with the 2009+ but unfortunately they are VERY rare to my country , therefore TOO expensive. (60K EUR)

Its the earlier V that get my vote (I do have a bias) the lines in my opinion flow much better, not so boxy and inside the dash is nicer due to not having that huge tv/gps screen
