This would be useful if those posting would list exactly what they got done for the money they are quoting....As others have mentioned already, you may not be comparing apples with apples.

Whats the best service schedule for the Gransport? Yearly? Bi-yearly? I think someone should put some info up about how to maintain the Gransport and the Quattroporte. I just changed the gearbox fluid on my GS and put the Ferrari Oil in it with maserati oil filter. This is the first time I"m doing it since April, when I had a service done on my GS. I had noticed my car had almost 10K miles and no record of gearbox fluid change.
I know I used to drop my QP off at the stealership, but I am not sure what to do this year since I won't be going back to them anymore, not sure exactly what needs to be done, I have about 12K miles on it and its been about a year since my first service, its gonna be my second service, not sure what to do.

Gee....and here in good ol' Northern Ireland, at Irelands ONLY Maserati dealer they charge $2300!
Where the average wage is 64% of the USA average!

...but I hear that in Ireland they include a new clutch! :D

Vincenzo.....the emmm ......humour didn't quite cross the big pond.....:help:

When I asked them if they would "price-match" a service in the UK, from which I was bringing the car...they looked at me blankly...........great stuff huh?!

Who ever said the customer was King........???!!!....was obviously a Republican!

I didn't know. Thats why I asked. The point of a Forum is to help eachother out when we have questions and share our common interests.

I just had mine done and got it back today for $1670. Actually not a bad deal considering that it helped me get a couple minor warranty items done as well.

Eddie I sure love to, If i drive down on a Saturday, would you be able to have the car ready for me to drive home on Sunday so I can be back at work on Monday morning? and yes I do need some sleep before work :)

Carlo at Alfa Tacoma 17,500 full service- Complete fluid change, filter etc.
Very reasonable $800 and he spent drive time and at least 30 minutes looking at a problem I created. Chrome shifter knob does not sit low enough and yo have to hold it to avoid the lock out until it gets machined out a bit more.

Service

Anyone know any good independents in the Washington DC area?

name of the jersey shop

pleae post the name and adress of the jersey shop

/////QUOTE=chris7469;68130]I only deal with one local independent. I brought him my air filter, oil filter, oil and Amsoil gear box fluid. Plus new plugs..

He flushed and changed all the fluids, filters and covered everything. Total cost of parts and labor was 750 - 800. And I got the car back in one day.

If anyone needs and excellent guy in central NJ just let me know.

Heart attack warning.

Sitting in Newark Airport connecting to Tel Aviv on business (Any members in Herzliya want a beer this week?) I saw the title of this thread and assumed is was from someone who paid $18,000 for an annual service.......

let's face it, it's not beyond the imagination!
