I didn't like driving my car because it was full of the gummy stuff. Two weeks ago, Lorenzo guided me through the process of removing the parts. He was very patience through the tedious process. I removed and sent him:

the A/C panel, the center console, the NIT unit, 4 front vents, 2 rear vents, one top vent, 2 clothes hangers, 2 door handle covers, the glove box handle, light switch knob.

Lorenzo had it back to me in less than a week. Again, he was very patience in helping me put it back together. I love the new interior. Thanks Lorenzo. I should have done this a long time ago.

Attached are the before and after pictures:

I think it is great that we have a member here who is helping other members correct their sticky button issue, but with all due respect, do we really need yet another thread about this? We now have five separate threads just on the front page of this forum.

Don Lorenzo - you are a class act and a selfless individual!

p.s. MadMan has a point.
Moderator - can these be consolidated with the intention of advising those who inquire to simply contact Don Lorenzo? You would be doing them a great service.

Theres only one on the front page that I have going. Some of the others are new member stating their sticky button/plastics issues. This is a tough one. Just like oil threads and tire threads. Theres another tire thread that just started to. How do you tell new members or any members not to post a new oil or tire thread. What I will do on my part is to tell members who purchase from me that if they want to post their gratitude and happieness of their purchase and the new look of their car, to post on my existing thread. That should help keep that number of threads down, but I cant guarantee it. Nor can we guarantee a new tire or oil thread wont start again to. But im happy to try. Also, not all new members or even existing members know that theres a sponsor here that restores button and plastics so they just post a new thread. As I mentioned Ill do my part. That should help

Just to clarify, I didn't mean to imply that you have started all of these threads, just that there are five threads on the front page regarding the sticky button issue and which include your efforts to help the posters solve their problem. Here are the other four threads to which I was referring:

http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/coupe-spyder-gs/56978-nav-radio-window-buttons.html

http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/coupe-spyder-gs/60082-nit-cover-repair.html

http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/coupe-spyder-gs/60042-sticky-plastic-removals.html

http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/coupe-spyder-gs/59186-console-buttons-sticky-white.html

And this latest thread in which we're currently having this discussion was begun by a poster who has been here since 2011, so its not as if its just new posters creating these threads. In fact, only two of the five were begun by new posters; two were begun by you, and the fifth is this one.

I didn't mean to make this a big issue here, it was just an immediate reaction to seeing yet another sticky button thread that seemed like nothing more than an ad for your services.

I would be happy to merge the threads if that's the consensus.

I have two threads here on this front page. One is for my Nav/radio/window button restoration. . The other is for the NIT covers that I just started to repair. SO really, there are 3 threads from new members. It just happens to be that a few new members posted at the same time, within a couple weeks of one another....Dave, im going to ask if you could please contact me before you do this. You have my phone number, Thanks,

No offense taken. The first one you mention is my first ad. The second on the NIT cover is something new I found to offer so I created a new thread for it. And believe me there are people who are glad I did. The next two appear to be new members. I have no control over what a new member does. This one your referring to was supposed to go on my first ad but the member posted a new thread by mistake. So it slipped thru the cracks. Some of these threads will go on by. After a week or two they will be on the second page and they will go away. This has all been worked out between me and the moderator. I think we can let this one die out
