Well, I finally took delivery yesterday and I cannot be happier... well, I'd be happier if the weather was better and I could take some decent pictures.

I promise to get it washed and take some good pics when the weather improves. I'll also write my thoughts on the car.

One thing to note... the Bowers & Wilkins system is worth every penny!!! It's amazing.

And the carbon fiber with the cuoio is really nice... picture is terrible but it's just gorgeous in person.

The car:
Nero Ribelle / Nero/Cuoio
Sport Package
Premium Package
Luxury Package
20" Urano Machine Polished Wheels
Red Calipers
Rear Sunshade
Bowers & Wilkins System
25% Tint all around

Huge congratulations! Let us know much, much more after you've had some fun with her and, of course, more pictures!

Congratulations!! Happy to see that Ghiblis are now going into the homes of our fellow members

Looking forward to your review (and more pictures).

Thank you all for the cheers.... getting the car home feels great but honestly having all of you cheer me on feels even better! Thank you.

As for the questions...

The Nero Ribelle is really beautiful. It's pure black after dusk but in the light, it shimmers and adds a whole new flavor to black. I would not switch to regular Nero.

The wheels are really nice. The machined polish is beautiful and had I not already placed an order for a set of one-piece forged wheels, I would have probably just kept these and installed spacers. But then again, my new wheels I think are going to look even sicker than these and they'll show off the beautiful red brake calipers even more.

BTW, I'll be selling those beautiful wheels with or without tires if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Congratulations AMR,
I have a Nero Ribelle/Marrone Ghibli coming that I have been notified will be delivered in the next couple of days:). I'm glad to hear you like the Nero/Ribelle, as I haven't actually seen the color on a Ghibli. The car I ordered through a locate has everything I wanted (and more); my only issue is it has base wheels. I can't for the life of me figure out why it was built with almost every available option, and base wheels! Oh well, I think I'll be okay with the wheels for the time being, but I'll probably keep an eye out for some sort of great deal down the road. But for now I've put out enough $$:).

Well the weather had been horrible and the car had been completely covered in road grime. Washed it today only to discover that the rear bumper had been hit. We went to dinner Sat night and I parallel parked on the street so all I can assume is that someone hit it that night and I didn't see it from all the dirt. It's very minor but I think I will have to paint the full bumper. I'm in a lot of pain:(

Not even a note left with the person's number!

I feel your pain, it happened to me once (not with QP or my heart would have sank even more, but with a 750). Some people have no respect for other people's properties.

many congrats! she is stunning. how you liking the new interior?

sorry to hear about the rear bumper, why i tried not to park on the streets. I agree, too many people hating out there or just have no respect for other's rides.

but don't let one thing ruin your ownership experience. and yes, would love to see more pics!

I agree enjoy the car and remember it is just a car! There are many more important things in life!! I hit a deer with my brand new loaded 540i less than 24 hours of taking delivery! Your Car is awesome......enjoy!! We look forward to hearing all about it as you put on the miles!!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments and support. I got it touched up and I know it's there but honestly I cannot get myself to get the full bumper painted so early into the ownership.

I love love love this car. I promise to write a full review of the driving experience, fit/finish, color combo, etc but we just started to get decent weather so I plan to drive her more and more this week and report back in a day or two.

For now, here are some pictures. The Nero Ribelle is awesome!!! And the Cuoio is top notch, especially with the c/f trim.

absolutely stunning. How do you like the carbon fibre? I ordered it as well but with Rosso interior.

One big question for you, I how is the ride quality over rough roads? Is it bone jarring or decent? I see you have the sport package and 20" wheels.

I absolutely love the C/F and would have it no other way. I think it's the only way to go with the Rosso interior and to be honest it is really exotic with the Cuoio.

The ride is perfect in my opinion. It is very similar to a BMW 5-Series with sport package. I had the FD Springs installed on my '08 QP with 20" wheels and it was WAY ROUGHER than this Ghibli with sport suspension. Not that I didn't like the FD springs, but this feels much nicer and no issues at all on rough roads. As an added bonus, it feels very solid on corners, high speed sweeps, and very planted at highway speeds.... did manage to hit mid triple digits this weekend on a closed circuit and car felt very good .... ran out of room at 150!
