Thanks I will look them up.

It is just funny how the rear light housing, with the bulbs and hardware et all only cost $275 at the dealer, and the front grill that I can probably make cost over a $1,000.00. But that is the Maserati for ya!! Gotta love it!!

Here's my newly acquired GranTurismo S in Argento Luna. :) I absolutely love it. Looks amazing day or night, and in any light. Only had it a few days and heads are turning everywhere, and I overhear everybody saying how beautiful it is. Might be my favorite color of all of them. I'm proud to own one of the few!! Do you have one as well?

I think it is a fine color for a car driven in the South. Wouldn't be right at any temp lower than 70 degrees F or in non-sunny climate.

Sounds like I am kidding but I am not!

This Luna Blue 2006 Quattroporte was here in the Seattle area for sale last year. It had been with the dealer for almost a year. It had sat on their lot from about August of 2011 until they sold it at an auction in June of 2012! I don't think it was the exterior color that had turned people off as much as the interior (navy blue) did. I took the car out for a test drive and like you, really like the Luna Blue color. I just didn't care for the Navy Blue interior and passed. I see it is back up for sale now in the Portland, Oregon area.

It is amazing how some cars seem to stay on the market perpetually. Rare color combos seem to make selling fairly difficult.

The problem is not the rareness of the color.

I believe the problem is the original owner who ordered it new like that. What I mean is, just because someone has enough money to buy a Maserati, it doesn't mean he has the finesse, style and character, to order a beautiful color combination.

You have to see how much they laugh during the production of such cars in the factory... whenever some stupid color combo is seen, people immediately say its either for an American or an Arab. It may sound racist but its true. On the other side of things, Germany orders mostly black cars...

Finally, you have to remember that there is a certain percentage of the population who is color blind!!! (and there are several variations of color blindness) so those kind of people order all kinds of stupid colors as well.

Hold on a minute...."You have to see how much they laugh during the production of such cars in the factory... whenever some stupid color combo is seen, people immediately say its either for an American or an Arab."

Would a man of "finesse, style and character" make such a broad and ignorant statement? Why insult a man's beautiful car? Why insinuate that he is in some way, stupid for owning it?

Elitist bullsh*t. We all work so we can someday have a few things we treasure. I think the Luna Blue exterior is very nice. And I think you are way beyond color blindness.

I'm not talking about the color of this car, which is fine :)

Just complaining that people do tend to "generalize" when they see some silly color combination (again, not talking about this car, but cars with mirror glaze film, that sort of thing).
