Hi,
Does anyone have any tips on removing and refitting the inlet manifold (4200 coupe)? I need to get mine off to change the oil pressure sender (just dont have enough space to get to the sender with the manifold on). Is getting manifold off and refitting fairly straightforward?
thanks

Oil pressure sender

It would be nice if life was so simple.
Fraid I'm beginning to wish I had never started this job. Could not get crow's foot wrench on because cable for angolar speed sensor (which reads off the flywheel) in the way. Cannot remove speed sensor because it is in a tube and the oil sender in the way (catch 22). So - sacrifice speed sensor by slicing through cable with a Dremel. NOW can get crows foot wrench on (having checked correct size, 24 mm, with new oil sender unit). However, even with long socket bar cannot shift sensor, must be corroded in or tightened by a Italian gorilla when assembled. Finally, bang, has the sensor shifted? No, just the flats on the sensor buggered. Stop for tea. Consider removing manifold tomorrow to try to get more access. probably should have done so to start with. Any (helpful) suggestions?
cheers
