I did this last week. Removing the top piece is straightforward with the guide. Removing the bottom requires a lot more force than I am usually comfortable applying. There are big metal clips a the front about 6 inches or so in from both the left and right side. You can lever next to them. You can’t see them but you can tell by how the leather is gathered.

Those bottom seats can be a bear to get out. The metal clips require alot of force to release

I had to use a crowbar...

As others have said, that clip under seat cushion is very tough to get out. I took some photos to better show its location here.
