Maserati will not start everything on the dash is flashing key is stuck in the ignition
No, they were correct, someone previously had done this. I did notice some rubbing on the wheel wells which I thought was odd but I didn’t look any closer, but I never looked at the back side of the wheels because I pulled it off and set it straight down on its back cause I did not want to damage the faces. I was jacking one side at a time and did put the suspension under pretty good amount of stress. I’m guessing at that point maybe the wires finally gave away I don’t know. I would have definitely noticed with the spacers I put on they all looked flush with the wheel wells, I did pay pretty close attention to that.Yeah, that is a total dipshit move...The sizes are not even that close..Did you not notice that was a real wide ass front tire when you did the pads and rotors?? J
Well said Jason lesson learned, it didn’t matter what kind of scanner I would have had or used it wouldn’t have mattered, I’m more surprised I didn’t see it doing the brakes. Turns out I did take it to shop that is closest to me. They have been around Ferraris and they’ve actually worked on a Bugatti. After speaking with the gentleman, he was very confident about looking at the car, I do believe sometimes the best solution is to take it to the shop, but also vetting of the shop is definitely needed. Now you guys see why I'm always saying how hard it is to diagnosis a car via the internet...Who in the hell is looking for something like that??? but let a shop just let a shop put the car in the air and they found it in like 2 minutes..J
I feel bad we didn't solve this oneNow you guys see why I'm always saying how hard it is to diagnosis a car via the internet...Who in the hell is looking for something like that??? but let a shop just let a shop put the car in the air and they found it in like 2 minutes..J
THE HELL!!!Follow up, learning as I go with this car, but some dumb a**, either a shop or previous owner rotated the wheels and never noticed the staggered sizes from front back. The wheels were rubbing and had gotten into the wiring harness a is the cause of my electrical issues and did some damage to the wheel. Shop I took it to feels confident they can repair the wiring harness and now I’ll probably be in the market shop told me the wheels interior lip was damn near ground off.
Cut the ends of the old sensor wires, (should be two), then twist them together. This will get rid of the light on your dash...with respect to brake pad wear, warning light. When the shop was clearing the air, they ran into an issue with the brake pad sensor. So another issue I was reading on these forums and I saw where people just eliminate the pad sensor so the shop called Maserati and said they have to use Maserati pads due to the sensor. Question number one. Is there a way of eliminating the sensor without having a light on the dash, and if not, can someone recommend a good replacement sensor instead of buying pads from Maserati?
Tim as always I appreciate your help thank you sir!Cut the ends of the old sensor wires, (should be two), then twist them together. This will get rid of the light on your dash.
