Good afternoon,

I have an 09 Granturismo and I’m wondering if anyone here has any ideas on something I have going on. The air con was throwing a code for the air condenser internal fault and I tried, as recommended on here, replacing the pressotat first. At this point, the a/c was working but was trying to get rid of the code. After installation, the code for the condenser is gone but I get a slew of other codes including B1912 “Keyboard Control plate communication error”, which I believe may be the source of all the others, essentially stating there’s no communication with any of the actuators for example “max cold position, LH central vent” etc. The ac cuts off and on at will always going back to 72 degrees, at times the switch back to off is quite violent and it momentarily lights up the dash with a bunch of warnings, then settle out a second later. I’ve tried replacing that fuse for the ac control panel to no avail, tried also recharging the ac and that didn’t help any.
I’ve seen the 99 issue in here but doesn’t seem any had it to where the error was intermittent. Any of the mechanics in here ever saw this before? Is there anything I could do before finding a shop? I’m thinking having someone check the wiring for the ac control unit or check to see if that new pressostat may be causing the issue.

Thanks

Have never encountered what you’re seeing. Not familiar with the trouble code. Might try doing a battery relearn along with a capacitor drain. This will reset ac as well as other computers back to default. That is what I would try if it were brought to me.

Guys, just giving an update to this, tried replacing the front ac plate and it still gave the code 99. I already bought a new module and ended up getting my mechanic to install that. The stock module was corroded on the inside, still can’t figure out how. Anyway once we got the new one in the ac works with no issue and no error codes. Problem is, with the new module in I guess the car isn’t communicating with it so I have the flashing odometer now. Guess I need a “proxy reset” now to sort that out. If it isn’t one thing it’s another

Sounds like the panel is not communicating with the HVAC ECU...Jason
