Leaking rear axle seals

Hi all,

I have a 2014 QP 6 GTS. The left and right axle seals are leaking. Car has 55k miles on it.
Dealer wants $3,700 to fix the leaks. I’m sure an independent mechanic will be less expensive. Has anyone else had this issue. If so how much to get it fixed? Is there an aftermarket option for this? Thank you for

Thank you. So maybe I can just replace the boots versus having to replace the half axle shaft, which is what the dealership is advising? I don’t even know if you can buy the boots. Looks like Maserati doesn’t sell the boots separately.

I’m thinking of trying the below. Seems like it has good reviews and the boots are from Italy. There’s also a companies out of the UK and the USA that do this too.I . But speaking with an Italian friend, he’s used these before.

No need to remove the axle for install...interesting.
