Hi all. Recently bought a 2015 Mc shift GranTurismo. Love the car.

I’ve noticed when I just start up and if it’s on a slight hill and I gently throttle , the engine completely turns off when I engage 1st and attempt to pull away.

when I restart it, it and apply more throttle, it then pulls away.

Is this an indication the clutch is on the way out or something else? Clutch life is about 30 percent left.

Any help appreciated.

I'll slap one on my bumper!

I agree... scan the TCU. Now if you say you have 30% left... presumably you mean it shows 70% worn. Now if the NCCP value has not been "gamed", then the very real possibility exists that 70% is the total miles you can get out of the clutch. Many on this Forum seem to have prbs 'round then.

At first I would say it is a bad clutch behavior which could be verified by checking the clutch oscillations during pickup - if it is the case this could be resolved by bleeding the clutch.
It could also be ECU malfunction or hydraulic unit faults.

An expert on this system would be able to determine the root-cause of the issue.

It clearly cannot be supported remotely as Jason said...
