Can I play CD's with this?
Can I play DVD's with this?

Can anybody please explain to me how I play my music on this thing?
Yeah, yeah I know I am an old man who doesn't know squad about these things.
I am from the CD- and DVD-generation and that works perfect for me.
You have a radio icon for local stations .. and you can also download music apps like pandora and spotify via google play store. I'm not sure if Google play app comes on the unit but you can use the browser to download the google play app. Its used in Android to search and download apps you like. Much like your phone.

Think of it as a tablet or phone... thats all it is...

Apple IOS = app store
Android = google play

Although I haven't purchased one yet its my understanding that you can play music thats on your phone or use the USB port for music on a thumb drive.
Very easy to create a playlist from cd's etc, just download all your favorites onto a thumb drive using your computer, plug the thumb drive into 1 of the 2 USB ports, go to file manager>audio and download. Then just open the audio player and enjoy.

The camera that comes with the head units works well but not the highest quality, If I had to pick my own or replace mine I would go with the Rydeen CM-APL3 backup camera with active parking lines. I have a new Rydeen camera for the front to install sometime. Really like Rydeen.
Robin,
I have yet to install the backup camera on my GT Sport convertible. Trying to workout wire routing for convertable ... a bit different from hard top.
Anyway, say I solve that problem, does the Rydeen CM-APL3 have the same hookup as the camera that comes with the AuCar head unit?

A question for the group.
I did use the adapter for the GPS antenna (Bingfu Vehicle Car GPS Antenna Adapter Cable SMA Male to Fakra C Male Blue Coaxial Pigtail Cable) which works great. Blue to Blue.
Also hooked up car antenna white to ? black.

There is a grey connector of similar appearance to the GPS blue and Car white antennae , which I believe is the XM radio antenna connector (I really don't know but you need one if you want XM radio without relying on your phone). In the trunk well (after removal of liner) of my car is a XM (actually Sirius) radio tuner. There is an XM radio app available from Google Play, but I believe this requires WiFi or perhaps a smart phone to be functional. Is there an adapter, similar to the BingFu for GPS, that would connect the head unit with the XM antenna? Am I mixed up ?

Robin,
Did figure out how to route wiring for GT Sport Convertible. Easier than hardtop. Route along central console and right rear seat well ... open top ... put wires in convertible well .... in back center of convertible well is a small grommet ... cut camera wires (as you must anyway) and pass wires through star cut in grommet into upper trunk ... route as per Robin's YouTube ... I think I'll need more wire. Can post-photos but uncertain if this is correct thread.

Anyway, still brings up original question. The wiring with stock camera has ?video feed wire and red power wire. Will this be adequate for Rydeen CM-APL3?

Yes, you should be able to use the wiring, you can go onto Rydeen website and they have the install manual for that came and shows a few ways to wire, shouldn't be a problem at all.

Yes use the white wire, black adaptor will plug into the white oem wire, The gray is for factory Xm, this head unit is not compatible and does not have built in Sirius XM tuner. The only way to listen to XM is to download the app and hotspot your phone, Please remember that if you don't connect to wifi occasionally your apps and head unit will never update. You will want to keep the head unit updated just as you would a phone, tablet or computer.
