The speed of a car is probably at the VERY bottom of my list. Aesthetically pleasing to my eye, comfortability on long road trips, and NOT seeing my car out in herds, on the street, is what appeals to me. None of these refers to the C8 lineup because these are not its purpose. If you tried to compare the C8 platform against the Masi GT for the purpose of grand touring, you would be immersing yourself in an exercise of tomfoolery.!

Maserati was never in this fight. It's a GT car, and that is where it shines. Supercar, Hypercar...those have nothing to do with us!
Thats because Maserati doesn't own any boxing gloves and has no dog in this fight. Its not personal and shouldn't generate a level of defense. Its just a statement of different generations of automobiles and their insatiable fan base. There are many times that I drive my GTS over choosing to take the Vette. Many. Mostly at the behest of my wife since you can barely hear yourself think in the Z. But each car has its attributes. And there is no indication that I choose to drive one over the other. Because there DIFFERENT.

Please explain grand touring driving ? as a former GT owner I never understood the term as it always seem to be tossed around for Under performing.
C8 is better in every Category imo it’s not even relatively close. I loved the GT but overall long in the tooth with very dated looks.

Yeah, I usually just drive whatever car I'm feeling at that moment...no biggie!

The Masi GT is a decathlete, it does many things well.
The C8 is a sprinter, it specializes in speed.
exactly how much seat time do you have in a C8
To make any kind of comparison or attributes?
Or is just more reading off the Internet lol
I spent seven full days in the car up in Spring Mountain Nevada so I’m pretty confident in REAL life scenario of both GT/C8
Thx
Obviously it’s just pure HOMER nothing will change your mind and that’s fine you like what you like.
It's a better Grand Touring car, as it was designed. If you want speed, of course, get you a Hulked out C8. lol
C8 wins not only in performance but also styling- tech- handling- comfort (IMO and most others who have driven both cars without bias)
your remarks about what the C8 does or doesn’t do are complete “ hot take” until driven both. As stated previously I have never been a vett fan or a vett owner but this car is completely different than anything previously released from prior generations.

I have about 2 hours in the C8, from Atlanta to Birmingham. It's really not that serious, but you seem a little C8 sensitive. It's all good as my mind is neither one way nor the other, they're just cars bro. ;)

I thought we were talking MC20 and a C8? A Granturismo is obviously a lot different car than a Corvette..It's a touring car with a back seat...J

At the end of the day, unfortunately, it still a corvette!
Let me flip that around for ya...It is still a Maserati...The same people that brought the Bi-turbo to America and had to leave US market place..Just saying...Jason
