I'm a Stick shift driver ,never ever owned an auto , I still have my 997 911 cab, Now In the QP in Manual Sport mode I can't seem to get a good downshift going... It jerks.

Should I just shift up and let it downsift (city driving) itself. Gimme some tricks because in my 911 You would think I'm driving an Auto I shift soooooooo smoothley no lurching at all?

Thanks Eric www.dimeclub.net

You can feather the throttle a little when shifting, but many here believe that increases the wear on the clutch. It will greatly reduce the 'head jerk' however.
