Are yellow Maserati Coupes more rare. I never see any for sale. This my new one that arrives in two weeks. From everything I have read, It should be at least as thrilling as my M3.

Wow, nice!

Come to think of it I've seen plenty of yellow cabs but never a coupe, the lines show really well in your pics.

Gorgeous, and surely you have a higher tolerance for encounters with law enforcement than I do.

As far as the M3, had a couple of those including the last iteration, great cars but you will likely find that your yellow coupe is a different level.
Any idea how I would find out how many units Maserati sold of the Coupe in yellow in 2002? I can hardly wait to drive her.

Absolutely love the yellow Coupe, I also haven't seen one now that I think of it.

minimal, as the market for yellow cars isn't big.
So....... one of one. I get it. I guess you really have to like the color. My wife says it suits me and I enjoy being a little different. Plus, yellow is the color of Armstrong, Lemond, Hinault, Anquitil, Merxck, and (hopefully) my son in about 25 years(he's one).

I am thinking of a personalized plate: YLWJRSY (Yellow Jersey).

Obviously you have more than a passing interest in cycling, are you a pro or otherwise in the business?
I was a pro many years ago(late 80s and 90s). With the start of family and resposibility, I changed jobs to make more money. I still race but at a more relaxed level. I never had a chance to go for the yellow jersey, so why not drive one?
I saw one yellow GS for sale. It was listed in the Dupont registry about 4-5 months ago. mercury rims and grill. It was georgeous as is yours. I have had my GS for about a month and you just can not compare the exotic beauty and performance of a Maserati with a German (relatively mass production) M3.

I traded cars for a day with a friend with a brand new BMW 650i cab. I liked the car and it is perfect for my friend who puts on 20,000 miles per year, but there was truly no comparison.

Good luck!
I have seen 1 yellow cab. It was a 2002 that had a racing stripe and numbers added (never raced, just pimped out).

Ferrari of Washington took it in on trade. I think they even tried to ebay it. This was about a year or so ago.

experience with yellow coupe

I have an early production 03 coupe with tubi, a wild Italian that screams when excited, wondrful screaming color, attracts all kinds of attention: women, valet parking and police; got 3 tickets next day after I leased it.
Congratulations, it is a wondrful car.
Two weeks can't come soon enough!!!!!!!!
I just got a copy of the Maserati e-newsletter. Have you seen it? on the front page is a yellow GS with the mercury rims and grille. I think the title was "pier to pier" with a picture of the car in Santa Monica. I was amazed. I work in Santa Monica and thought I had the only GS in town. I loved the yellow. I am not sure I could buy one but I do love it.
I am new to this site. How do I get an copy of Maserati News?
i will forward you the link if you e-mail me or give me your e-mail address. i believe you then just sign up. i think i originally signed up on the official maserati site, but i am not positive about that.
Here's mine, yes they are rare in Coupe guise....all the better I say and of course the yellow one's are quicker

BTW: Does get a lot of attention from joe public but why would it get more attention from law enforcement in particular? Or am i being stupid?
Sorry

 My attempt to post my pic. didn't work something about pixel size's, I suppose that means the pic. of mine is too large. Me and IT it is just never simple :(
Will try and post somehow.

I had a Silver Maserati and didn't get pulled over once. I think where you live and the poice pulling you over has more to do with it. Yellow will of course stand out more but that doesn't give the officer a reason to pull you over unless you're violating a law.
Is violating the law and exceeding the posted speed limit the same thing?
