Had a nice run in the country this weekend and was one of my first trips outside the metropolitan area in darkness in this car and noticed my xenons appear too bright/high in dip mode for other traffic, i had possibly 30 other drivers peeved off. so question has anyone else noticed this or found a solution? My previous QP had a tilt switch in the cockpit but doesn't seem to be the case with the GT.

Where is dip switch in cockpit of QP? One day when I was pulling away from my friends house, they mentioned my passenger light was shooting high. I also noticed later that night that when I turned on car, both lights raised up and only drivers side came all the way down (during the 2 second up down procedure that happen when you start car). The next day, I noticed that inside the passenger light, the projector light that moves seemed to be uncentered in hole of interior light bezel. If you look inside headlight, there is a round tubular light that sits slightly back from a chrome bezel all enclosed within headlight. Since the rounded front of light sticks out into chrome bezel, and because it was not centered, it was rubbing against bezel and unable to go down all the way. The only adjustment possible was with the spring tube with screw that sticks almost 2 feet out of back of headlight. I could only get it to turn one way, I think counter clockwise. I moved the light behind bezel up to the left. The light is now free to go fully up and down after startup and is much improved on height. There is still an issue that the passenger is still slightly to high. Also, the light itself is about 25% off center up and to left behind bezel. I believe if I can adjust light back down and to right, it would correct the slight height problem on that passenger side light. I obviously tried to turn the adjustment screw back clockwise, but it won't move. I think, the remaining adjustments require removing headlight. I'm living with this small issue for now because it seems the headlight is a horrible pain to remove and I live 8 hours from nearest dealership and will wait for a major issue before going to dealership for warranty work. Any ideas?

Here in germany Xenon lights have an automatic height adjustement. It works with a height sensor at the rear axle, which might have a bad contact.
The lights can also be adjusted manually.
Whatever the reason for the problem, I would let the dealer check it.
