I own a 2009 Quattroporte S. I drive the car about 4000 miles a year with a mix of city and highway miles. Currently I have about 44,000 miles on the car. Previous owner always followed the dealer's service recommendations on an annual basis not according to mileage. Is an annual oil change sufficient or should the list of belts, filters, etc always be serviced as well despite the mileage. While I want to maintain my car well are their recommendations overkill if I am only using the car sparingly. Also anyone out there from the Bay area (outside San Francisco) who can recommend a great mechanic.

I would probably get an oil change every year...Brake fluid should be changed every 2...I would just have them inspect the belts etc...Stuff does't wear sitting in a garage..Jason
