Sometimes when I start up my car and begin to drive, I will hear a long beep, then it will stop. There are no warning lights or anything like that?

Does anyone know what is causing this sound? Alarm? Sports mode? etc?

If the temperature is freezing or near the freezing point, there is a warning beep to alert you of possible ice on the road. You should see a snow flake that flashes simultaneously with the beep next to the temperature read-out.
