The production dates are on the top of the battery and the appropriate dots are poked when when the the liquid is added...at least that is supposed to be the case. My battery in a 2018 AGM. I will test it next spring and if not perfect, change it, but my almost always tendered batteries last a long time! I have not a had a battery fail in less than 5 yrs....

I suspect that is a 2012 battery 9/05/12
Call me stupid, but it seems odd that a 2015 car would have a 2012 battery?

You all will be thrilled to learn that I have purchased a new battery which was manufactured June 2022 with a 3 yr warranty!!!... I will refrain from specifying the brand and type in order to prevent this thread from generating more controversy. Haha.

Definitely not keeping anyone up! yes, I got a Black Friday deal on a 40 pack of Energizer AA's so the car started once, but all kinds of warning lights on the dash. any ideas what that may be from?

Actually got a Duralast AGM Platinum battery from Autozone. Made by JCL June of 22 and a 3 yr warranty. maybe not everyone's first choice, but the place is close to home so convenience won out over anything else. They had a bunch in stock so I feel good that if something goes wrong I can easily get a new one. Guy at the counter was looking up the car and said "never had to look up one of these cars before ... Dang that's the biggest battery we have"
