Thanks @09GTdriver, The Larini works great, looks great, fits well. Keep your factory part so you can always just return it to stock if you want when you sell the car. Then you'll have an X-Pipe you can sell if you revert it back to stock later. It's a win / win.

Best Regards,
I did exactly this, plus Larini parts are keeping up their value, you can easily resell it once you sell the car. On mine I have as well Larini non-valved boxes, sounds sweet.

Take a look at my guide.

Here is a cold start UrutuXPipe video. It is a lot louder in vivo. I stepped in and also pressed the Sport button again and it turns quiet when valves close.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but from my experience, exhaust noises can be incredibly difficult to capture on video accurately. What you hear on video and what you actually hear in real life can sound dramatically different. Best thing to do is to hear it in person, otherwise, it can be a crapshoot.

The above Xpipe from URUTU is the one I purchased online. Much less expensive than the other ones. I installed it myself on a rack.
When you purchase it and look at it, you’ll see it’s just a straight pipe with nothing in it. Nothing special about the design at all so I feel this brand is great. I’ve been happy with the sound and it’s all stainless too. Looks good.

I had the larini x-pipe on my 09 and it sounded great. My 14GTS is stock now and I have been looking at the options for X-pipe. Found this one on eBay for about half the cost of larini but I am not sure of the sound. Listing isnt active anymore but they may still have some available.

I installed an X-pipe today and it didn't make much difference to the sound.

Now that the standard resonator is removed and I look into it I realised that it is a straight through x pipe anyway. It simply has some perforations and a resonator so it's not exactly slowing down gases much.

Mines a 2016 Granturismo S auto with the oval tail pipes. I've had the vacuum hoses disconnected from the rear mufflers so my exhaust valves are always open so it was already slightly louder than stock.

Cost about USD$250 and they unbolted the old resonator x pipe and replaced it with just an x pipe which they custom made.

It's mild steel not stainless, so doesn't have that harsher raspy sound. But I must admit I'm a little disappointed as I expected it to be louder and a bit more throaty. It doesn't seem to have made much of a difference at all.

Seat-of-the-pants when driving I don't think I would have even noticed. Putting my foot down it's maybe a little louder than before, but not much. I haven't been on motorway speeds but I used to think in the stock pipes there was a very slight drone at about 100 km per hour and I'm hoping that will be gone.

As you can see in the attached photos the stock resonator with x pipe is a very direct through pipe anyway so I can't see how an x pipe is going to give much of the claimed 8hp performance increase, if any.

As far as the resonator...The perforations let the resonator absorb a lot of the sound...Every x-pipe I have installed has sounded great honestly....As far the 8 HP gain...That is a matter of discussion...Not sure you are gonna feel 8hp in a car of that size to start with...The old ass dyno is not very accurate...Jason
