I've looked up the Tubi and B&B systems, but would like to modify the exhaust myself.
Can I remove the center resonator, secondary cats or rear mufflers (one item or combination) and get a good sound?
Anyone with experience?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the link.
That sounds pretty good to me.
Were only the rear mufflers removed?
There's a center muffler or resonator, directly behind the secondary cats also.
The new tips look good too.
I'm trying to do the job only once and appreciate the advice.
Regards,
Sean

Sean,
I only removed the rear resonators. Everything else is untouched so you can put the old system back together with little trouble. The tips are from Ansa. They are 3'' round stainless with little baffles built in.
It took me about 5 hours to build it and is well worth the time. Everyone comments on how great it sounds.

Hi

Have just done a quick recording of the exhaust fitted to my car, unfortunately it is not completely representative of how it sounds, allot of the bass tones you can here in the close up shot on tick over are not there when the engine is revved, I think the camera picks up the higher notes only at this stage.

I will try a drive by recording later in the day if I get the chance.

can someone host the clip for me?

Nik
