It is not possible to see car options for the VIN number itself, it is just a sequence number, which gives only a few details (car is from Italy, etc) but not options.
BUT you can give it to your local dealer and ask them to send you the original factory order, which lists all the options!
I had forgotten about RHD cars being the odd-# ones...
So--still, having never seen a Bora s/n lower than 400 nor higher
than 1100 in years ranging from 1972 > 1979 (unlike M'.com site)
and allowing for both odds and evens (RHD & LHD), can we
still believe 564 total made?
Hi,
I'm looking to purchase Vic's Sebring 2 Vin #10101 503..
Is there registry you might know of that I can look up its history?
Seems like a nice car and drives very well..
The fuel injection works too...
Thank you,
Mike
I went to local dealer and he didn't tell me the information that I needed to know. I don't know why he was so clueless about it though. It's good to check history before any old vehicle purchase. You really will never know when bad luck hits you.
I am contributing and keeping updated the Spyder 90th anniversary forum and think there should be an official registry that I can add all the information to, but there is only the generic Spyder. Can you or how do I create an official registry for Spyder 90th anniversary?
