Fell in love with cars when I was 0.. in love with watches when I was 30.. not quite sure why so late..

there are few things that define a mans style.. and the watch is one of them. You certainly don't want to be too overt - and you do want to research your prices and models.

I have 3 proper watches. Jaeger Le Coultre, Geographic, Panerai Luminor Marina 40mm, and Cartier roadster (only got it as a good deal). Cartier are mostly about the look rather than the movement.

I would say that Panerai and the Jaeger are definitely my favourite. Jaeger is the one of the top 3 watchmakers in the work. They make all of their rown components inside the watch. The only other watch makers able to boast this is Rolex, and Patek Phillipe. Arguably Vacheron Constantine are now making all their own components.. but only recently have they been doing that.

I am lucky as my wife works for Richemont, owner of Jaeger, Panerai, Vacheron, Cartier etc..

there's only one manufacturer for me, since I can think I always adored
IWC. I'm wearing an IWC Portuguese and think this brand/style fits
also perfect to Maserati, a class of it's own....

btw. no matter what I do, I always wear it, maybe a Swiss thing ;-) even if
I wash my car or change my son's diapers..... eheheh.

cheers

Iwan - clearly a man of taste.. Katie's current role is IWC Marketing Manager. and she wears a beautiful rose gold portugese.. which I have borrowed on more than one occasion.. :)

I hear that the newer models are really unreliable.. so beware..

but I would have the Portugese anyday.. in fact I should really get one before she leaves.. they do a really nice limited edition Laureus Sport Foundation one with a Blue face..

no.. she unfortunately works for a control freak of a boss .. funny as she was doing JLC and then got fed up with that boss and moved to IWC - just to find that instead of a boss who never cared for work, she has one who's sucha control freak she doesn't get to do any marketing at all just admin!

still she's resigned now as we are going to go family style! ;)

timex g shock, fully loaded. it's even waterproof. In black of course, thats how we roll. :)

I have a citizen too, but its way to bling to sport on the street, dont want to upstage the maserati! Besides you could get your hand chopped off for a watch of that magnitude here in rough streets of Las Vegas. I keep it in the plastic Walmart bag it came in to make sure it holds its value.

I am saving up for one of those casio calculator watches....Gotta have goals right????

I have a JLC master Reserve de Marche - black face on stainless with brown alligator strap and deployment clasp. Just love that watch.

Also have a Breitling Crosswind as an everyday wearer.

Only thing I don't have is a Maserati :(
