I have a Tubi with less than 1,000 miles on it and would sell it for approximately half of what it cost. Tubi's are much lighter than the stock exhaust and with a deep throaty sound to them. Tubistyleusa.com tells me it will fit the Coupe, Spyder, or GranSport (2002-2006).

The exhaust set (2 pieces - one for each side) is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and obviously selling to someone 'local' would be the easiest, but I am willing to ship it. The original boxes they came in are long since gone, but shipping can still be done. The buyer pays for shipping and I will ship them per thebuyer's instructions and carrier.

I am asking $1,500 for the set plus shipping if necessary. You may reach me by phone or email.

i have a couple of questions:
1) supposedly the GS already comes with a tubi (or muffler made by tubi to be exact). has anyone removed theirs and switched to another exhaust?
2) does the sport exhaust mode still work on the GS with this?
3) please post pictures of them, espeically the tips. how good do they look?

Yes, I have 2 sets on Tubis - one that I have on my 2005 GranSport and the extra set that I'm selling. I had a Tubi and then recently purchased the GS that already had a Tubi, so now I have a surplus Tubi.

I don't know the answer to 2), but I assume not.

I will take some pics this afternoon when I get home and post them.

Sorry M, I don't know as the GS already had the Tubi on it when I bought it. I assume that it louder, but how much I can't say.

i have the racing type so it's quite loud, it's sort of between straight pipe and GS. deep deep rumble when cold you won't hear a thing beyond 4000rpm.

No problem, haha, as the important thing is get the Tubi's to new homes. No point to them sitting in our garages when they could be bringing the pleasure of their beautiful sound to another Maserati driver....

1) yea the GS comes with tubies on it
2) I think that in "Sport" mode all 4 exhaust outlets (tips) are used, in normal driving only two are usually used. I believe that all 4 are also opened during times of increased acceleration.

very nice. i would love to get the racing tubi's. but i also like to retain the switchable sport/normal mode....

(even on sport mode, it sets off my QP's alarm every morning i start my spyder... on normal mode, it is fine.)

this would be a good upgrade for non-gs cars..
or gs owners who are on sport mode most of the time anyways..

Ive been told by numerous sources there is only one type of tubi available for the maserati. When the gransport came out they had a version of tubi that came with the car but not quite as loud as the aftermarket verision.

Has something changed?
