Alright, I know I just got the car, but I'm bringing it in to get those side vent things bolted down a bit more, and I thought while I was there if I were going to do the Tubi, I might as well do it then. So what are your opinions on Tubi exhaust? I was able to ride in a Tubi maserati and it sounded beautiful. I'm just worried that it would eventually give me a headache on longer trips. I was only able to ride in the car up to about 40 or 50 mph and we were only at that speed for a second, so all I heard was how loud the car could be when she floored it. I need to know how the car sounds on the freeway at about 70 or so. Also, where I live the houses are really close together and the steets are narrow, so if I were to come home at like 1 in the morning, is there a way to drive the car quietly so I dont wake the whole neighborhood up? Thanks.

I test drove two coupes on Monday...one with the Tubi exhaust and one without. For me, the sweet sound of the stock V8 suffices.

On the road, for a short drive, the Tubi was great. But, we started the car in the corner of two buildings, just like it would be at home near my garage. It was too loud for me and, I would imagine, my neighbors.

Plus, and I do not know if this is true, dealer said installed cost was near $4500.

At first I was going to have dealer install Tubi as soon as car comes in but have now decided to pick up car and drive a little before deciding. From everything I have read the Maserati engine makes a great sound and I am a little nervous of the exhaust muting out the engine and I plan on doing mostly top down driving so do want to loud of an Exhaust. Think I will ask my dealer if I could take a little test drive in one of their used Maserati with Tubi installed. I was quoted a price of 2,800 installed. Am being told my car is a status 20 which means the body is on and next will be 70 which is the last stage before the final test and shipping. Did you follow the status of yours?

I actually decided to have Tubi installed, so I should have it all ready by Thursday. I have been listening closely to how my car sounds now, and it sounds really great, but I was thinking to myself, it could sound a little louder and deeper, and then it would be perfect. But also, I dont think that the Tubi sound is gonna kick in too much until I floor the car, so hopefully I don't have to worry about it being too noisy when I just wanna stay at one particular speed on the freeway. Also, I have the coupe, so I won't be having the top down. In regards to your Spyder, I'm not sure how much louder it will be inside the cabin with or without the top, so the best thing for you to do is to test drive one. My dealership had 2 or 3 Tubi-fitted cars. I guess like 1 out of 3 customers are asking for Tubi.

I never checked my status in number terms. I just kept asking on updates to when she would have the car in, and she called me when the car was complete because then she had a better idea as to when it could arrive. Just don't be surprised if the boat or even the truck is late, cuz thats what happened to me, and I had to wait about 2 weeks after the car arrived from the boat.
