Anybody have problems with the trunk leaking? The seals look OK, and are soft and pliable. The dealer washed my car, and left 3" of water in the trunk, rusting the tools, warping the manuals, etc. Are there redesigned seals for the trunk lid ? Any suggestions as to how to make the current ones seal better?

thanks!

One of the things I've noticed with the Spyder is that it's WAY too easy to accidentally hit the trunk release on the key when you're turning it in the ignition. With the Spyder you can't raise or lower the top if the trunk is "open" so you have to get out and shut it... PITA.

Even so it's hard to explain 3" of water in the trunk

the trunk remote is disabled on my 05 when the key is in the ignition...try the logo side next time :)

Haha, I'm betting that's something Maserati changed between model years.

I've trained myself to put the key in with the logo facing the driver, and that helps some, but I've even managed to arm the alarm accidentally. Nothing like pulling up to a stop sign and then having the alarm go off!

I had a leak in my trunk but was not coming from the top but from underneath the car. Apparently F/M of Houston was aware of the problem and sealed it. No problem since then.
