Buddy of mine call sme tonight; has a 2005 CC coupe; says both trunk and gas cap will not open; is this a fuse issue? MY XKR had the gas cap problem as the cable would disengage from this cheap plastic piece; for $90K it was a joke standing at the pump reaching around the trunk and trying to hold this part from above while everyone looked.....any help for my friend? dogdoc

Use the key....

Open the truck, turn off the battery for about 2 minutes, power it back up and check it... If it still doesn't work, check the fuses, if that doesn't work, then you need to go visit the dealer... I would be on the power switch...

if you need into the gas cap, don't forget the emergency pull cord next to the battery.
