Hey Everyone,
I joined Dali racing NSX club for a great track day last week and it was later brought to my attention that a few other Maserati guys might have been interested from the SoCal area.

Dali Racing is an NSX club from San Diego that rents Spring Mountain raceway every month or so. They limit the attendees for maximum track time and last time everyone got 5 hours of availible track time. They allow other cars and last time Formula Dynamics showed with thier Gransport which put many NSX's to shame.

I can *probably* make it, but I come back from New Orleans on the 21st, so it's cutting it close. I swear track day organizers pick dates after looking at my calendar and looking for the days I'm out of town.

Great! passed a few and got passed by a few! I ran in the fast group which everyone was pretty quick. The NSX's corner REALLY well, but the Rati's kicked ass on the straights and pulled them in. It was a fun and technical course. Not to many people, we had about 5 hours of track time and most times was driving without a car around me till I caught up to someone who needed to be passed.

They limit the event and usually fills up, so try to figure out if you can make it.
Spoke with one of the guys from Formula Dynamics and they are planning on attending and testing one of their cars out there.

should be fun. I have some in car video but am having trouble getting the right format for windows, I will try to post it.

Do you do many track events? THis is probably one of the better tracks.

I have done several on motorcycles and I did a Skip Barber racing school about a decade ago, but this will be my devirginizing experience in a road car. I've done the 2.2 mile Pahrump track on my Daytona, I love that track.

We plan on attending the next one as well however we can't confirm it 100% as of yet. When we were out last the Maserati's were well represented and we managed to post some fairly respectable times, perhaps only being outperformed by the race prepared "Boostzilla" NSX. However we never ended up actually comparing lap times or driving together.

If only we could get a few more Masi's.

we'll I know we had 3 Masi's showing, so this is a good sign.

I'll be at Streets on the 2nd...I don't like the big track, it's just too fast.
