Are there TPMS glued to inside of rim

I just installed 18" OEM wheels fitted with snow tires.

The wheels do not have tpms and the original 19" wheels and the car have tpms.

So far no error codes -- we'll see what happens in the future.

TPSM won't re-calibrate on summer wheels

Acquaintance bought an '08 QP and asked if I would post this question. He purchased winter tires and rims but didn't install the TPSM from his summer wheels. With warmer weather he put the summer wheels with TPSM back on, but despite re-calibrating, doesn't get a pressure reading! Any tricks or known issues?
