Hey guys,

I just wanted to know how many of you guys would pay to have a supercharger system set up for yout maserati (coupe, spyder, or gransport)...

I am negotiating with a company at the moment regarding geting a bespoke turbocharging system created.

Maybe a big group buy?

There is just not room for any supercharger that I can imagine but twin turbos look doable. If I don't have to take a 2nd mortgage then I'm interested.

and is that supposed to fry the cambiocorsa even quicker?
Here in Greece a tuning house created a kit including new control unit, exhaust, air intake and a few more minor modifications.
The outcome was 430 BHPs and 50 Kgm torque.
Result? 0-100 in 4.6sec 300 Vmax but the real gain was at the intermediate accelerations. The car was over 1 sec faster at all reckonings comparing to a Corvette C06 auto!!!
BUT......... the CC clutch from 12% wear went to 90% after 20min
after that 0-100 became 6.0sec
So M! very well said

What about the F430 spec engine...

Now that would be cool. Highly Tuned, Normally Asperated, just the right amount of HP (as if this were ever true!) for the vehicle. Forget the $$$ for the sake of the concept, Would it work??

Hi everyone,

I join the Forum from Europe... this is my first post here.

About a supercharger for the Maserati 4200: it EXISTS!! I know a very respectable German company who has developed a twin-supercharger system for the 4200, QP and Gransport, which delivers a whopping 540HP with truck-shaming levels of torque. How long the CC will survive this onslaught is anyone's guess, but strangely enough they do not offer the supercharger on the manual model...

Anyway, here's the link where you can read all the details about the supercharger kit. It's an impressive piece of engineering but it's not cheap at over 50,000 Euro...
