Require Suggestions For A Subwoofer For My 2005 Spyder.

Just Made A Complete Overhaul Of The Audio System In My Spyder.
Replaced Existing Speakers With Dynaaudio, Added A Mcintosh Amp
In The Spare Tire Compartment And Changed The Becker Headset To A
Multimeadia Alpine Unit.
Still Need To Add A Subwoofer. Should I Mount One In The Trunk Space Near The Rear? Will I Be Able To Hear It And Get The Full Effect.
Priced Out A Subwoofer Box Like The Auditorium 200 Box Between
The Front Seats Done In Matching Leather, However Price Came In
From My Authorized Maserati Dealer At Over $2000.00.
Should I Purchase A Kicker Or Focal Subwoofer ?

Members Input Would Be Most Appreciated

We did a subwoofer in the spare tire well using a JL 10w6. It had great output. I was a bit shocked the bass made its way into the cabin of the car. We ran about 300 watts into it using a Audison Lrx amp. I will post some pics later when I get home if you would like....

But if you mounted the amp in the spare tire well there will not be enough room for a single 10" sub that will require from .75 to 1 cubic foot. We mounted the amp on the back of the gas tank by welding up some flat steel to secure the amp.
