A frind told me that the 08 and 07 quattroporte's with the manual shifting are already selling for a dime a dozen only a year or two after production. Does anyone forsee this happening with the 08 Quattroporte GT S? I would hate to buy a car for mid 130,000 and have it drop to $70 when i drive it off the lot. Hopefully the new automatic transmission brouhgt stability to the general resale value.

I think the GT-S is probably the pick of the crop and will hold its value a lot better. Maserati really didn't understand the US market when they insisted in using their cambiocorsa setting, and the owners are paying a price for it in terms of residual values.
