First, I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions to this forum! I'm buying a 2012 Maserati GranTuirsmo Convertible on January16th from a good friend who is the original owner. As I've read, this car along with other luxury brands have the sticky button issue. This car is no different and most buttons are sticky. I've done my research and just trying to determine what is the best DIY solution based on the searches and research that I've performed. What's everyone's opinion to take the "gunk" off without stripping the button lettering or logos?
Any strong opinions or experience from trial and error (or hopefully success!). My lean is either Blackfire or Zep, so if that's the right direction does one work better than the other?

- Blackfire All In One Cleaner (Full Strength): Read good reviews and doesn't seem to rub off the button letters/logos
- Zep industrial Purple Cleaner (Full Strength): Same as Blackfire...seems to work well. Is one of the two better or are they equal? Any pros/cons to this vs. Blackfire?
- Denatured Alcohol: I have no doubt this works, but have read that it does wear off the paint/logos on the buttons so have concerns with this approach.
- Turtle Wax Bug/Tar: Read a few reviews, but appears that Blackfire and Zep are better.
