Hi, my local dealer told me today that the instrument panel on my Quattroporte has got a problem and after discussing it with Maserati in Italy they have been told to change my speedo/tachometer/instrument cluster. My main concern is that the mileage of my car may be displayed in error this making the car look very dodgy if/when I come to sell. Can the dealer make the correct mileage appear or will I have a lot of explaining to do to 3rd parties? As its a digital odometer I was wondering if the actual mileage data was stored in another ECU so that my true mileage would always be displayed.

Any info welcome.

thanks
